Learning where to look and how to take pictures/videos of damage, or lack of damage, is extremely important. As you walk around your property, take some time to open closets, drawers, pantries, jewelry cabinets, gun safes, or other areas that might not be easily seen with basic pictures to get documentation of your personal property as well as your dwelling.
Every annual policy is a great time to take new pictures or videos and save into the Cloud in case your computer or phone gets damaged.
Why does every year matter?
Your home will change over time. You rearrange, remodel, and replace items. These photos show the evolution of your home. They can show a better timeline, with photo documentation, of before and after damages.
